Heinz - Take care of your sausage

Solution: A game with social features, taking advantage of Facebook’s viral marketing potential, was based on the “Take care of your sausage” website. It proved to be an efficienttool in communicating with the consumer – there were thousands of participants who fought for the victory and prizes until the very end. In order to highlight the social nature of barbecue, the task was to have virtual barbecue together with friends. The main aim of the game was “taking care of the sausage” and handling all the “difficulties” along the way, i.e. adjusting the grilling temperature and decorating ready-to-eat sausages with Heinz ketchup. The main award consisting of many fun activities (a cruise, dinner, parties) was a getaway weekend for eight people in Sopot. Other prizes matched the summer “barbecue” climate of Heinz very well.
